Video Killed the Radio Star (a comparison)

Our homework today was to watch two videos.

A song by the name of "Video Killed the Radio Star", and a parody/faithful update "Digital Life". What they are trying to convey in the original is that we relied too much on media and television. I felt that these lines show this.

"In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone too far"

"Rewritten by machine and new technology, and now I understand the problems you can see."

"We hear the [music] playback and it seems so long ago."

This line specifically tells us how fast technology was, and is still developing.

Now, in regards to the parody, "Digital Life", I feel that is not trying to persuade as in any way. It's more like as it was trying to tell us something.
In this case, how digital media has changed our lifestyle and morals. In the case of classrooms and schools, technology is becoming more and more apparent in the classes. Unfortunately, new ways of bullying and harassment has been popping up due to the freedom of the internet.

In my opinion, technology is rapidly developing for better- and for the worse.
Freedom of the internet can be good or bad depending on how you use it.

Oh, and here's my source!

  1. Great job Alayna I Loved the wording you used in this response. I enjoyed reading it and you were pretty bias in your response. You didn't just say this video is wrong or this video is right. However
in my opinion instead of I think and I feel you could use different words. Your writing was done fairly professionally and using I think and I feel really tones down the formality in your writing. Other then that your response was great. There were no Grammatical errors or spelling errors. Great Job Alayna
